NETMOD is a simulation application developed in order to model the information
flow and procedures at a multi-modal transportation node (e.g. a port), in order to
evaluate how better procedures or higher information levels may affect the service
performance and reduce the vehicles’ (ships, trucks, trains) lead times within the node.

TECHNOLOGY:
Ad hoc model developed with MODSIM III.5®
(CACI unsupported).

This project implemented a simulation model to analyse the operation of a logistic
to analyse the operation of a logistic system for transport and storage of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). The aim was to evaluate the number of needed ships and to evaluate the number of needed ships and to plan their operation: number of trips, maintenance planning, and so on.
